 Platform

 founding 
member 
institutions 
and
 organisations 
from
 13
 EU
 Member 
states.

The 
Platform 
of
 European
 Memory 
and
 Conscience
 sent
 a
 letter 
to 
Mr
 Boyko 
Borisov, Prime 
Minister
 of 
Bulgaria,
 asking
 for 
an 
explanation 
how 
the 
Chairman
 of COMDOS could
 have 
signed 
the
 ethics
 Code 
of
 the 
Platform 
given
 the
 fact 
that 
he 
himself 
was
 an officer 
of
 the
 Communist 
regime`s
 Peoples`
Militia
 until
 1989.

Similar
 letters 
have
 also 
been 
sent
 to 
the 
President
 of
 the 
Parliament,
 the Minister 
of Foreign 
Affairs
 and 
the
 Minister
 of 
Interior 
of 
the
 Republic
 of
 Bulgaria.
